May

My little princess sleeping...she's still sucking her fingers...we've tried everything, but, thats a tough habit to break.  Not sure how we are going to handle it.
This is a totally random picture I took when Liv was being uncooperative, but, I like how you can see how curly her hair is and the pony tail she's been rocking since her hair is just long enough now!  Her Aunt Lori calls it "her splash"...like a splash of water, makes sense to me! ;O)

Owen always has an end of the year picnic, but, I never think to take pictures.  This year I managed to take a couple at least with him and some of his goofy friends.  The one in the very middle is our neighbor, Max.  He's a year older than Owen, but, the two get along really well and play every chance they can get.
Dave's Aunt Linda (a.k.a. Aunty Lou) visited for a weekend on her way to meet Doug in Valdez.  We took her down to Portage and Girdwood for a look around and stopped at Beluga Point.

Portage was WINDY and COLD as usual...

We also stopped at the animal sanctuary, but, it was already so crowded with tour bus loads of tourists, I didn't get any good pictures.

Owen performed for the first time in the school's talent show just before school got out.  I can't tell you how proud I am of him.  This was something I NEVER would have considered doing myself.  This kid never ceases to amaze me.
I asked him after the performance why he didn't smile at all and he told me it was because he didn't want people to know that he was nervous....phew, ducked that bullet, hahahaha!

Liv wrapped-up her first year at the Montessori and officially has graduated to Pre-school.  Her school also had an end of the year picnic.
This is her main teacher in the toddler class, Miss Naomi.

The second teacher in the class is Miss Sue (right) and the teacher's aide was Miss Kate (left).

The owner and director is Miss Tere.  She's also Liv's preschool teacher this year.

This is Owen celebrating his last day of 2nd Grade!!
The following week, Dad brought Mitzi and Madison up for a visit.  The kids clicked right off and had a great time.

Dad hauled everyone to Seward and back one day while Dave and I worked.  We met them in town trade the kids and to have some dinner.  Unfortunately for Owen, it was just too much!  Poor kid, he's NEVER fallen asleep at dinner like this before!!

This is just a random video, that I took because I thought it was too funny to let it go uncaptured.  Dave was looking through the Cabela's magazine and Olivia got all riled up about "needing" a pink gun, that she couldn't shoot anything else.  She's the biggest drama queen I've ever met.  You can tell how well it works on us...Dave just totally ignores her, hahaha.
