So, as I mentioned in my last Hawaii post, the only thing that made leaving that tropical paradise possible was the fact that spring had already sprung at home. We left with visions of riding our bikes outside and for the first time ever, doing an Easter egg hunt on the lawn...unfortunately, we got home and woke up the next morning to this...SO glad the Easter Bunny opted NOT to put the eggs outside the night before!!! This was totally disheartening and depressing to look at...hardly any snow all winter and it decides to snow our first day back in town...ON Easter no less!
The kids got lots of good loot...Liv got the pink fishing pole she'd been wanting to use with her Xtra Tufs! Owen got some Guardians of the Galaxy figures and a couple new Skylander players for his Xbox game.
I must have been really tired because the pictures are really blurry and Owen looks drugged here...
It was only a week or so after we got home that the snow was completely gone for good. Although it was still pretty cold, we got in some outdoor time...
We have an annual pass to the museum, so, hit it again to spend some time with the kids. It's really hard to go from spending every minute of every day with the kids to seeing them for a few hours between school and bed time!
