Day 13, Four Seasons Beach

We were trying to hit as many new beaches as we could this trip and had driven past the Hualalai Beach Access almost every day.  So, we decided to check it out.  Turns out, it happens to be the beach in front of the Four Seasons Hotel and it was amazing.  Too calm for any boogie boarding which was a disappointment.  But, lots of turtles and beautiful crystal clear water.  The only downside, millions of sea urchins!  Dave enjoyed some snorkeling though and Liv loved the beach.

After snorkeling for a bit, Dave went back to the car for something and on his way, he practically got run over by a dude riding a golf cart on the walking path.  The dude apologized and Dave kept walking.  But, when we went to leave, he told me about it and said if he didn't know any better, he'd think that was David Grohl, the lead singer for Foo Fighters and former guitarist for Nirvana.  I thought he was crazy, but, humored him and googled the dude.  Wouldn't ya know, up pops a bunch of pictures of him right there on the same beach we'd just left and a story about him vacationing with his family on the Big Island, published just the day before.  Who knew!  Dave thought it was pretty cool, but, I personally was still annoyed he was driving the golf cart on the walking path singer or not!!

We went back to the Queens Marketplace for some shopping in the evening and Owen insisted on having his picture taken in front of the torches.  All I had was my phone, he's such a goofball.
