June

My mom found Liv an Anna and Elsa costume from Frozen.  Liv was SO thrilled!  Unfortunately, she wouldn't stop swishing so I could get some good pictures!

Of course, we had other issues too...like puppy dogs that like to be in the middle of EVERYTHING! ;O)

What's an Elsa costume without a performance of "Let it Go!"!!

Dave's been doing an amazing job with all of his woodworking.  He made this work bench you see in the picture and was building himself a bow and arrow rack to hang his and the kids bows from the garage ceiling.  Of course, the secret to his success is obviously his little supervisor...

In fact, she pretty much oversees everything Dave does...here he is working on cutting our bathroom tile....

And here's Liv supervising from the driveway in her Frozen camp chair...not sure what he'd do without her!!  I just love how the ear protection squishes her face and gives her chipmunk cheeks!

For whatever reason, the different cable channels run the movie "Hitch" with Will Smith and Kevin James quite a bit.  Owen especially loves the dance scene with the two guys and the song "Yeah" by Usher.  Here he is Owen's version of the dance with Liv as a back-up dancer:

Owen took on mowing the yard this year and does a great job...he'll do even better when he's a little bit bigger than the mower! ;O)

There's a new gym in Eagle River that specializes in Ninja Warrior training.  For anyone that doesn't know, Ninja Warrior is a game show on t.v. that originated in Japan where the contestants have to run through these crazy difficult obstacles to conquer the ultimate obstacle, Mount Midoriyama.  The obstacles are insanely physical and are typically best suited for rock climbers with strong grips and upper body strength and parkour athletes that are used to doing things with their bodies that normal people would consider physically impossible.  The gym has all kinds of ninja warrior inspired obstacles, as well as a foam pit, and the infamous 14' warp wall.  They had a camp for kids during the summer where they worked on cartwheels, flips, somersaults, and even the obstacles.  Here's Liv and Owen with Melanie's kids, Hayden and Kaylee.

And here's Liv watching YouTube videos on Meanie's phone...
