February was as busy as ever and we spent a lot of time at the hockey rink. Dave was coaching, so, both him and Owen got some ice time that way. Uncle Doc and Aunt Laurie stopped by to see the action. I swear, I can't take an iPhone pic to save my life!!

So, there was a phase where anytime Liv could get her hands on a marker, she colored herself up! I think she was going for a Smurfette look on this particular day!
Our weather has been so wonky this year. After the big warm up in January/early February, the temps plummeted...it always happens that way, but, still comes as a shock. Anyway, we stopped to check out the snow sculptures for Fur Rondy downtown. But, it took longer to park and walk to them then it did to walk the loop. There's just fewer and fewer people willing to participate. I'm not sure if it's just not worth it because there's no guarantee on weather or if there's underlying politics I don't know about... Anyway, this particular day was SO much colder than we'd anticipated! It was a real quick trip before we headed back to the truck!!
Olivia LOVES when her brother gets home from school. This is her watching for him from the window. She was SO slow, it was easier to let him walk home from the bus stop by himself and we'd watch him from the window or the end of the driveway.
So, neither of our kids ever used the mini potties, but, I did try with Liv. I don't think she ever got the concept though!!! This is her sitting on the mini potty using the stool for the big potty as a desk for the iPad. She spent quite a while in the bathroom watching her movie like this!!! I was starting to wonder if we'd ever get the potty training figured!!!
