There's a new version of Photoshop out and I've been debating the need for an upgrade. At the same time, in my online photography studies, I've read it's important to photograph in "Camera Raw" for better manipulation in the editing phase. However, my current version of Photoshop isn't compatible with my camera's "camera raw" files. So, I've been on Photoshop's website today and downloaded a trial of Photoshop CS6 and Light Room 4.
I took a few shots of Olivia last month in "camera raw" not realizing there would be a compatibility issue. I've been playing with them a little and although I can see some of the benefits, I'm not sure this camera raw thing is necessary if you know how to get around in Photoshop. However, that could be do to operator error! ;O)
Anyway, I wanted to play around in CS6 anyway and edit these photos that I couldn't play with before and get a feel for the new program. I need to take new photos, just probably won't get to it until April after my reports are submitted.
Hope you all are having a wonderful St. Patty's Day!
